As Erin Schulte writes, "Bust is a magazine that is not about feminism, but is informed by it....Features are female-oriented, but in a way that challenges stereotypes about women and ignores assumptions. For instance, after Sept. 11, Bust ran a long feature about female terrorists." Good news: about 3/4s of the magazine is freelance-written. Really, make sure you know the magazine though. Really.
