Cracked magazine, the nearly-50-year-old humor publication, has been acquired by Teshkeel Media Group, a Kuwaiti company geared towards “developing original children’s content around the world, with a focus on Arab and Islamic markets.” “It’s getting so that who’s publishing the magazine is funnier than anything the magazine could possibly publish,” says this guy.
You would think that this would be a good time for conservative reporters but everywhere they’re being accused of taking money, of contributing to State of the Union addresses, of using a fake name and working for websites with names like HotMilitaryStud.com…
Meanwhile, the White House tells the WashPost to check itself (via Drudge.)
Upscale African-American Savoy magazine is, say it loud, back (and proud.)
David Talbot is out at Salon, which, incidentally, just posted its first profitable quarter in history. Those luxury car ads must pay a ton.
