One Way to Handle an Editor: Post His Emails to You On Your Blog
You can draw your own conclusions from what I am about to post: in fact, please email any thoughts you may have on it to me. I should note that I do know Kevin Sampsell (although I haven’t worked with him as an editor. Actually he did turn down something I submitted to him once and then I wrote a 5,000 word blog post about it. Not.)
Editor: “Also, as far as the title goes, do you really want it to be:
TODAY THE SKY IS BLUE AND WHITE WITH BRIGHT BLUE SPOTS AND A SMALL PALE
MOON AND I WILL DESTROY OUR RELATIONSHIP TODAY ??
I think even the title could use some editing. Remember, we want people to be able to remember it. How about: I WILL DESTROY OUR RELATIONSHIP TODAY or something else entirely.”
Author: i’m sure about the title. i don’t want to change the title.

Also, my pal Eriz Spitznagel sends up the whole event here.
