If you’re like me, well, um, you’re many things. But among them, you’re in grad school. You’d be surprised though how many adults, not just young students, don’t know good etiquette when it comes to contacting professors.
This information is also good to know if you’re a freelancer, contacting a professor-type as a source for a story.
And if you wonder why professors deserve any more courtesy than anybody else in the world, well let’s meet at the library and complain about it over coffee bought from a machine.
