Get Me Out of Here
So what's the best way to track down WiFi hot spots so you can take your laptop on the road and work from new locales? I asked Gina over at LifeHacker. Her first recommendation is JiWire, where you can search for hotspots and narrow it down to free services, coffee shops, truck stops, airports, whatever suits you. If you prefer a Starbucks (and sometimes, you just need one of their big ridiculous pieces of pound cake), Wi-FiHotSpotList will give you more pay options but at more chains you might be familiar with. |
