Two Heads Better Than One?

twobrains.jpgI’m in grad school, and I always inwardly groan when my professor says it’s time to do “group work.” I like other people but don’t so much like working with them. However, plenty of people like working in teams. Rachel Kramer Bussel talks to some dynamic writing duos on collaboration:

At the end of the day, are the slings and arrows, the compromises and arguments, worth it? For Epstein and Kaplan, definitely, “Writing together is a very intimate relationship, and like all relationships it takes work. So along with the work of writing, there is also the work of taking care of your collaboration. It’s so gratifying and just friggin’ cool to be able to share the burden of work and the deliciousness of success with a great friend.”

If reading the stories above make you think that you’d like collaborating, Writers Weekly has an article on more of the pros and cons of teaming up.
