presspass: “I’m wondering what the rule of thumb is regarding salary talks. When you are at a job interview and they ask how much you want to make or how much you currently make, what is the best response?”
Cyrus: “My first response to this question is always to make an effort to avoid showing your “cards” first. Ask them how much they have in mind and see what they say…Your responsibility to yourself is to make sure you’re getting what you feel is a fair salary, so say what you have in mind.”
