Susan Kirkland had a few tips to add regarding something I put up recently:
About your money saving tips item re magazines--I discovered www.budgetmags.com
and "asking for the professional rate" which is a courtesy given to Dr. & Dentists offices.
The New Yorker is notorious for hiding the special "professional rate" from subscribers ($19--52 issues) who call the 800 number.
New York Magazine has the best deals on their website--$17 for maybe 49 issues.
At budget, I get Rolling Stone for a year for $4.19, 52 issues of U.S. News & World Report for $5.89, Inc. for $3.59 (18 issues), Entrepreneur $3.59.
Most of the women's mags are under $6 for a years subscription, even Marie Claire, Elle. Even Vogue is $5.89 for 12 issues.
