As we all know by now, Johnny Carson is late as well as great. When I heard the news, the loss felt sad but strangely anticlimactic. It felt like we had already said our goodbyes upon his retirement over ten years ago. Is there anything to add to the obituary? If you were in charge of Johnny's obit (and perhaps you are), weigh in: How would you write an interesting, informative final farewell? Or, if you don't have commentary on Carson's particular case, how do you know when to tip your hand, information-wise, on a piece, and when to reserve something special for a potential follow-up? Discuss.
