I'm going to take care not to mock too heartily most writing resources I find on the web, because odds are, there are going to be certain days, like, say, Thursday, January 20, where you're blogging in a vacuum, and you're coming short of ideas, and the ones I made fun of are going to be the most helpful and I'll regret poking fun at them.
So anyway, at this site Writing Fix, I saw a link called "Games for Writers." Cool, I thought--some neat games to get your juices flowing and brainstorm and possibly, just maybe, learn about yourself a little bit in the end (you know, like the Trust Fall you did in summer camp.)
Instead, it's just a glorified page of links to games online. Actually, there are a few story games and anagrams, but I am curious to know how Hangman is going to help you do anything other than waste time. Ah, Hangman, second only to Seven-Up in Games You'd Play With a Tired Substitute Teacher.
