Michael is a tried and true entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in crafting and selling companies. Prior to founding Apsalar, as the former co-founder and COO of Kefta, Inc., a SaaS provider of online behavioral targeting solutions, Michael was instrumental in growing and shaping the business before its acquisition by Acxiom. After earning his MBA from Harvard to complement his MS in Engineering from École Centrale Lyon in France, Michael was the managing director of GiSMo, a mobile payment startup owned by Millicom International Cellular and a consultant with Altis, a consulting firm now owned by Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in Paris, France.

Previously, Claudia held senior product marketing positions in leading high-tech companies including Palm, TiVo, and eBay.

Carmen leads mediabistro's educational offerings and events -- with the mission of helping media people learn new skills. She began her career as an editor at a monthly arts and culture magazine and spent seven years freelancing as an editor and writer. Annie Trombatore is the Manager of Product Development for Thrillist Media Group, a digital media company converging leading men’s lifestyle brand Thrillist.com and members-only shopping club JackThreads.com. The brands collectively reach over 5 million daily subscriptions, targeting a young, urban male demographic locally and nationally, online and offline, through content and commerce. Trombatore is responsible for user experience design and product development across the company, which includes three websites, three email products and seven iOS & Android applications. rior to working at Thrillist, Annie was part of the Product Management team at Buy.com, where she worked with advertisers and manufacturers to strategize and design their presence on the website and within the iOS app.

Lyle Underkoffler was named vice president, Digital Media in 2010. In this role, he is responsible for leading the development and management of the digital strategy, positioning DPW as the leading resource for high-quality virtual content for children. Mr. Underkoffler maintains a keen sense for digital trends in the marketplace, consumer buying patterns, emerging hardware platforms, and the e-retailer landscape. He currently works in conjunction with the books and magazines content team to develop product plans, create contractual arrangements with e-retailers, and leverage DPW content to produce new digital opportunities in the marketplace. Previously, Mr. Underkoffler has served as the director, Strategy for Disney Publishing Worldwide. He was responsible for the annual Strategic Plan process and partnering across DPW business areas to analyze and help drive global growth initiatives. Mr. Underkoffler was also director of Strategy and Business Development at Zagat Survey, where he established a roadmap for growth through acquisitions, partnerships, and new ventures. In this role, he developed and executed a 3-year strategy across interactive products, both online and mobile. Lyle’s broad corporate strategy experience includes senior positions at Dun & Bradstreet, The Wall Street Journal, Morgan Stanley, and Deloitte Consulting, where he developed a strong track record of effective strategy development, customer segmentation, operational improvement, and change management.

Kamal built and currently leads the fast-growing Mobile division within RadiumOne. Prior to joining RadiumOne, Kamal managed the media team at Yahoo! Ad Network. There, she provided leadership and direction in all aspects of the Yahoo Ad Network and also contributed strategic direction after the acquisition of BlueLithium. Kamal co-founded and developed BlueLithium, a pioneer behavioral targeting ad network. She was instrumental in coordinating design, the flow of all UI features, analytical modeling of optimization algorithms, and the execution of the flagship products. She was also heavily involved in developing new business and building out the team. Prior to BlueLithium, she co-founded ClickAgents and served as the Director of Network Development, where she successfully brought brands to the premium publishers via performance-based initiatives. She has over 12 years of experience in online media buying and is an expert in building stellar products and teams from ground zero.

Kevin has been in the advertising technology space for over six years. Prior to MoPub, he managed publisher relationships with desktop clients at PubMatic and AdBrite. Kevin holds a B.S. in Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.

Filmmaker Patrick White founded Arcade Sunshine Media after developing and producing documentaries for National Geographic, Discovery Channel and History. Before that he directed award winning films about public health issues in Africa. More recently, he was named as one of the area’s best DJ’s by the Washington Post, a title he’s earned three years in a row. He holds a BA from George Washington University and a MA in Film from Boston University.

Gary Yentin is a senior mobile executive, with over 15 years of experience managing strategy sales, marketing, operations and technology for established entertainment, new media and technology companies. For the last ten years Gary has focused on mobile technologies, including content development and distribution having worked for m-Qube (now VeriSign) in the capacity of Vice-President, and mobile advertising, having worked and consulted with Admob, Enpocket, Nokia, Quattro and Jumptap.
