About the organization:

Founded in 1929, New York Women in Communications is a non-profit association whose members represent the breadth and depth of the continuously evolving communications industry.

To join, you must:
Be a woman in communications. Members outside the tri-state area are invited to NYWICI events when passing through town. 90% of members “hold management positions in advertising & marketing, corporate communications, digital media, magazine and book publishing, and public relations; the other 10% “own their business or function as chief executives, senior executives, managing editors, presidents and publishers within major communications firms.”
