<title>At Vogue, Danko Steiner Resigns, Raul Martinez Filling The Spot</title>
<description><![CDATA[<p><img border="0" width='199' height='264' src='/mediajobsdaily/files/original/vogue0704-c.jpg' alt='vogue0704-c.jpg' class="Right" style='padding:3px'><strong><a href="http://www.mediabistro.com/Danko-Steiner-profile.html">Danko Steiner</a></strong>, design director at Vogue, is leaving to pursue photography after four years at the magazine. <strong><a href="http://www.mediabistro.com/Anna-Wintour-profile.html">Anna Wintour</a></strong> has tapped <strong><a href="http://www.mediabistro.com/Raul-Martinez-profile.html">Ra&uacute;l Martinez</a></strong>, founder and chief creative officer of AR New York, a full-scale branding and advertising agency, as &#8220;creative consultant&#8221; to replace Steiner. &#8220;I can&#8217;t begin to explain how excited I am to be joining forces with Anna once again,&#8221; Martinez <a href="http://www.wwd.com/media-news/fashion-memopad/steiner-exits-vogue-2375839?navSection=media-news&amp;toc_preselected=65">told</a> Women&#8217;s Wear Daily.</p>
<p>Martinez will continue with his agency while working with Vogue, where his duties will include &#8220;work[ing] with the magazine and vogue.com&#8217;s art, design and photography and offer[ing] input on Vogue&#8217;s overall image and brand.&#8221;</p>

<title>Where Do Journalists Go When Their Magazine Closes?</title>

The question is almost as existential as the tree in the forest scenario, but thanks to <em>New York</em> magazine, we may just have our answer.</p>
<p>Five months after <em>Men&#8217;s Vogue</em>  published its last issue, <em>New York </em>magazine <a href="http://nymag.com/daily/intel/2009/03/five_months_later_whats_happen.html">caught up</a> with the staff to find out just what they were up to.
