This has been going on for a while: iTunes tells me I have a certain number of app updates available (1 in this case), but there is a completely different number when I click on the button and look at which updates are actually available. After selecting to download all the updates, the status number on the previous page remains the same. Given various stability problems I've seen on my iPod touch, I've adopted the personal policy of only installing and updating applications from iTunes. I am not making any over the air installations or updates over the network directly to the iPod touch. Odd...
