VNC is an acronym for Virtual Network Computing. Its main use is to provide graphical remote control of another computer. I've used various versions of VNC for years. So, I was interested to see this in the iTunes App Store.

The first thing that struck me was the relatively high (in comparison to typical iPhone apps) $24.95 price. The second thing that struck me (if I read the information on Jugaari's web pages correctly) is that it does not provide encrypted communication between computers. This is not a huge problem in a properly secured home network that is behind a properly configured firewall/router and WPA2 wireless security implemented. However, it is not something you should demo at, say, a public hotspot when carrying your Macbook and iPhone.
