Sony PSP 5.0 Update Information
...to learn about the 5.0 firmware update. My PSP's battery was drained to 0% charge. So, it will be a couple of hours until I can try to update the firmware since the PSP requires a 50% charge to perform a firmware update.
Here's what's new in the 5.0 update. Note that some features are only available on newer PSP models (model 2000 or 3000):
- Purchase and download games or video content from online Playstation@Store
- Title of stored video can be displayed instead of the filename
- Option to automatically connect to a PC via USB instead requiring manual intervention
- Power saving setting (3000 only)
- Display game on a TV in full screen mode (2000 only)
- Redesigned crossbar screen design
- Use full-screen on-screen keyboard
