DEVELOPMENT: First Firefox Mobile for Windows Mobile Screenshots available

PC World reports that a Firefox Mobile alpha version will be released next week. However, it will only be available for the Nokia 810 Internet Tablet. The Windows Mobile version will become available for testing at a later date.

Given rumors of Windows Mobile 7 being delayed until 2010, it will be extremely ironic if the Open Source Firefox Mobile app saves Windows Mobile in the interim period. Windows Mobile, once a leader in providing a web-enabled smartphone platform, is now perhaps the least web-capable major platform on the market.
