Mobile application service provider LightPole has entered the real estate market through partnerships with Trulia and Brownstoner.

Trulia, a Web site for folks just starting their real estate search, and Brownstoner, a site dedicated to Brooklyn real estate and renovation, are both building applications on the LightPole location-aware mobile platform to give home seekers and shoppers access to a wealth of real estate info while they're out and about.

"These vertically focused LightPole-powered mobile applications represent the first of what we hope to be a big step forward in the evolution of our business," said LightPole CEO Doug Klein. "By integrating with LightPole's mobile platform, the real estate market can demonstrate continued innovation in providing best-of-breed solutions to its customers and deliver the necessary capability of being able to search for a home when you're on the go."
