Smartphone content provider Handango has teamed with European mobile phone retailer Carphone Warehouse on an interesting way to sell mobile content.

Under the deal, Carphone Warehouse will offer Handango's apps to consumers when they buy the phone and download whatever content the user buys to the handset before he even leaves the store.

According to mocoNews, the pair will start out offering games, ringtones, instant messaging clients and e-mail viewers for the BlackBerry Pearl to customers in Carphone's UK stores.
