Survey Says 82% of 3GS Owners Very Satisfied & AT&T #1 Problem for 55%: Too Bad the Sample Size is So SmallFascinating customer survey info report (Survey study conduced by RBC/IQ ChangeWave) over from AppleInsider... Apple's iPhone 3GS has 99 percent satisfaction rate ...says that iPhone 3GS owners appear to be a bunch of happy campers with 82% reported they are very satisfied and 17% saying they are somewhat satisfied (giving AppleInsider's 99% figure). As you might guess, however, U.S. iPhone 3GS owners rank AT&T's network as the thing they dislike the most about the 3GS (55%) with short battery life coming in a close second (41%). Another way of looking at this is that Apple could reduce 96% of their U.S. customers' issues by letting customers use a different cell phone company and getting a better battery. The survey data also includes some information about which phone brands survey respondents switched from. However, as interesting as this and the other information give above is, here's the problem with this survey (without even looking at how it was performed): With 200 respondents, it seems way too small to draw statistically valid population inferences. So, I had fun reading the survey results. But, that is about it... Email This Post |
