And It's Gone: NBC Cancels Quarterlife
After debuting with the least viewership for a brand new television show in its time slot in at least 20 years, NBC decided not to roll the dice a second time and canceled Quarterlife, the first Web-based drama to migrate over to the boob tube. Reuters reports that it actually won't disappear entirely; instead, it will migrate over to the Bravo channel. The article said that the show had ranked a distant third place for the 10 p.m. hour, averaging just 3.1 million viewers and a meager 1.3 rating among advertisers' favorite demographic, adults aged 18 to 49, the precise audience for whom the series was designed.
