Grammys To Use Text Messaging

It sounds like the "Grammy Awards" meets "American Idol."

Through a contest on YouTube called "My Grammy Moment 2008," musicians were able to submit videos to win a chance to play live with the Foo Fighters during the band's performance on Sunday night's awards show.

Fans have narrowed the field down to three finalists and, according to a Mobile Marketer report, Grammy show viewers will choose the winner by texting their votes all day Sunday right on through the first hour of the broadcast on CBS that night.
