Blue Frog Mobile, whose technology lets viewers send text messages to TV stations who display the messages on-screen, has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, mocoNews.net reports. The four-year-old Seattle firm hopes to liquidate its assets but, the article says, there's really not all that much to liquidate.

According to mocoNews, Blue Frog's TXTV service was available in only a few markets "during odd hours and on off-brand TV stations."

Maybe it should have stuck with its original focus of selling ringtones and wallpaper for mobile phones.
