European Mobile Market: 2.35% Growth Thru 2012
The number of mobile users in Europe will grow at a compound annual rate of 2.35% from 2008-2012, according to a new study from market research firm RNCOS.
Not surprisingly, kids and young adults and urbanites make up the largest demographics. In fact, in 2006, 84% of 12- to 24-year-old Europeans had a mobile phone, says a Mobile Crunch report on the survey.
