AdMob: BlackBerry 8100 Generates Most Traffic; iPhone FlatAccording to data compiled by mobile ad marketplace AdMob, BlackBerry 8100 owners generated the most traffic of any smartphone worldwide (34%), followed by Nokia's smartphones at 29%. AdMob's report is based on data compiled from ad requests it received in February. In the US, traffic generated by the iPhone was flat. This, AdMob says, is consistent with the idea that people use a new device a lot in January and tend to slow down in subsequent months. Overall, Nokia phones were responsible for 29.4% of AdMob's worldwide ad requests. Motorola held the top spot in the US (35% of all ad requests) and Sony Ericsson claimed the top spot in the UK, with 37%. Email This Post |
