QuickPlay, Amobee Team on Video Ad Service

Mobile streaming technology outfit QuickPlay and mobile advertising provider Amobee Media Systems have teamed to offer a video ad service. According to MediaPost, Amobee will sell and serve the inventory of three- to five-second video ad. QuickPlay's technology will power the service.

Vodafone Italy used the joint offering for its FreeVideo service early this year and now QuickPlay and Amobee are looking to expand the venture to additional mobile operators in the Americas and EMEA.
