Last year, AC/DC snubbed Apple's iTunes Store by making its music available for sale online exclusively at Verizon Wireless, in the carrier's V CAST Music store. That's still the case today, leading MacUser (not to mention the rest of us) wondering exactly what the deal is.

It turns out that it's because of the music. Or so says Angus Young, the lead guitarist for AC/DC, who also told The Telegraph: "We don't make singles, we make albums," which still doesn't really explain anything.

"We believe the songs on any of our albums belong together. If we were on iTunes, we know a certain percentage of people would only download two or three songs from the album. We don't think that represents us musically."

In other words, they only care about musical integrity, not sales—which is why they went straight into the arms of freaking Verizon. (Oh, and Wal-mart.) We'd go on about how Apple would probably let them have their album-only sales, considering the gazillions of "album only" tracks currently for sale in the iTunes Store. But what's the point, really.
