Zumobi spun out of Microsoft's development lab last year and went to market with its Zooming User Interface made up of multi-level tiles that you tap to "zoom" into the associated information. The tiles are generally ad-supported widgets with games, news, photos and the like.

The application, which came out first on the iPhone and Windows Mobile handsets, will soon be available for the BlackBerry, Zumobi VP of business development Ken Willner told Mobile Marketer.
