Amazon Announces DRM-Free Music Store
The store will sell millions of tracks, including those from EMI, which already licensed its catalog to the store, according to this Reuters report. This means you can buy a track from Amazon and then do anything you want with it - play it on your phone, play it on your iPod (or any other MP3 player on the market), burn a CD for the car, trade it with fr... oops, maybe not that.
