AOL Revamps Mobile SearchAOL launched a new version of its mobile search service, one that's now accessible from all cellphone browsers. The new version "provides results in such areas as local listings (from AOL CityGuide), maps (from MapQuest), weather, movie times (from AOL MovieFone), news, stock quotes, and images," according to the Online Media Daily announcement. To try out the new search, key in wap.aol.com using your phone's built-in browser and press 1 for Search. This comes on the heels of a report that investor patience is wearing thin for AOL one year after the company moved away from its dial-up service to focus on online advertising.
