MySpace In Talks to Expand Mobile OfferingsThe Internet unit of News Corp is in talks with all the U.S. wireless operators about featuring the mobile version of MySpace on their main data service menus or mobile phone decks, a senior executive said on Monday in a Reuters report. Fox Interactive Media has launched a mobile version of MySpace.com, the most popular online teen hangout, and has an agreement to offer the service to customers of AT&T Inc, the biggest U.S. mobile service, the article said. But now, the company is "looking for other carriers to encourage their customers to use MySpace on their cell phones." This comes as Facebook, YouTube, and other social networking services continue to broaden their cell phone-compatible services.
