Once again, it's not free like on the desktop Web, but it's a small step forward nonetheless. MocoNews reports that AT&T will offer the online personalized radio station Pandora available to its mobile customers for $8.99 a month. That's considerably more expensive than what Sprint offers, however--remember that Sprint launched Pandora On the Go earlier this year for $3 per month.

Regardless, AT&T's version will let customers "sample new music and create their own personalized radio stations on their handsets, with the ability to save up to 100 stations," reports BizJournals. "Pandora also helps people find new music, by having them type the name of a favorite song or artist, and the company's Music Genome Project will recommend similar songs. AT&T will offer ways to buy the song through its Mobile Music Store."
