Samsung and Nokia to cooperate on Mobile TVSamsung and Nokia announced a joint effort to ensure that their phones work together with mobile TV. According to this LetsGoMobile report, the effort is to encourage greater adoption of DVB-H (Digital Video Broadcast - Handheld)-enabled mobile TV devices, and accelerate service deployment. As is obvious to anyone who has been following the latest "format" debacle - Blu-Ray versus HD DVD - consumers are much more willing to buy into new technologies if they can be reasonably assured that one of them won't die off in the next six months. Otherwise everyone will sit on their hands (or wallets) and not buy anything. Digital video broadcast mobile phones [LetsGoMobile]
