UK mobile application provider 3Bill has acquired social network platform Faces.com. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

We can't imagine 3Bill, the mobile division of Symbios Group, paid all that much though because, according to mocoNews, the Faces.com site shut down a few weeks ago "after failing to gain traction."

Faces.com focused its social networking on music, blogging and photos. The acquisition follows closely on the heels of 3Bill's purchase of Profileheaven.co.uk, a teen-oriented social network.

3Bill plans to turn its new sites into a "super community with a wide range of previously unseen features." The relaunch is scheduled for mid-year.
