MySpace Going on Windows Mobile
Microsoft and MySpace are hosting a session at the Web 2.0 Expo on Thursday to discuss how developers can build Silverlight apps for MySpace using the Open Source kit for Silverlight offered jointly by the two companies. The new MySpace app will be available for download on Windows Mobile 6.1 phones later this summer, and will make its appearance on the Windows Marketplace for Mobile sometime in the fall. Additionally, LG plans to preload the app on its Windows Mobile phones starting in the second half of the year. With more than 20 million mobile users worldwide, MySpace already has mobile versions available for the iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, Sidekick, Palm and Nokia platforms. Email This Post |
