With football season just around the corner, Sprint isn't wasting any time pushing its new NFL Mobile Live application. The carrier is launching a promotion on September 1 that's enough to make any football fan make friends with as many Sprint customers as possible.

The gimmick? Use the NFL Mobile Live app and automatically get entered into that week's sweepstakes drawing. The prize? Every week during the regular 17-week NFL season someone will win a trip for two to the Super Bowl in Tampa.

NFL Mobile Live lets fans listen to live radio broadcasts of every regular season game plus live video telecasts of the eight Thursday Night Football games on the NFL Network, which start November 6.
