mPoria Goes Lite for Smaller M-Merchants

Mobile commerce solutions provider mPoria has come out with a "Lite" version of its GoMobile m-commerce platform for smaller retailers.

The new GMLite is an entry-level version of the company's flagship product that helps merchants get a commerce-enabled mobile site up and running in as little as 30 minutes using the online wizard.

Retailers using GMLite can host a catalog of up to 100 products. Shoppers can get to the site through a URL of the merchant's choice or via mporia.mobi. They can shop to their heart's content and then click the merchant's "click to call" button to complete the transaction.

GMLite carries a one-time $19.99 set-up charge plus a $9.99 monthly fee.
