Welcome to mediabistro's fourth homepage redesign. We've got all your favorite mediabistro features (the Revolving Door, "How to Pitch" articles, the job board) and a whole new look.

We've expanded our blog content with the launch of five new blogs, which can be found in the column on the right, along with our existing (and freshly redesigned) TV news and publishing blogs, TVNewser and Galleycat.

Directly below Galleycat is our new design blog, UnBeige, which will be covering graphic and product design. (The title was inspired by this quote.)

We're also proud to announce the launch of three regional gossip blogs for New York, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles. The "fishbowl" blogs will provide an irreverent insider glimpse into three of the largest media markets in the country.

And to the far right, you'll find mediabistro's new resource blog for journalists and writers. MBToolbox will link to useful online resources and provide tips on writing and editing.

We're also in the process of revamping our feature well with a wider range of content, and this week's focus is magazine design. Today mediabistro's Greg Lindsay talks to Ed Leida, group design director for Fairchild Publications, about redesigning W, developing Fairchild's new parenting mag, Cookie, and the difference between a type guy and a type geek. This week we'll also be speaking to Fortune's Bob Newman, Travel + Leisure's Emily Crawford and the legendary Roger Black.
