Let's Overanalyze This [TVNewser]
Insiders are still buzzing about the news that Katie Couric won't be co-hosting the Opening Ceremonies alongside Bob Costas on Friday. NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams, who flew to Italy yesterday, is taking her place.
Tuesdays With Carl [FishbowlNY]
Fishbowl is coming to you not-quite-live tonight with the play-by-play of this afternoon's Lazard Freres/Carl Icahn press conference held on the 20th floor of the St. Regis...

Forget Balenciaga, the hot celebrity bag is Sean Preston [FishbowlLA]
Several photos published Tuesday showed Britney Spears driving her SUV with her son, Sean Preston, seated on her lap rather than strapped into a car seat in the back seat. Spears said she did it because of a "horrifying, frightful encounter with the paparazzi."
Playing Hookie with Creative Intelligence [Unbeige]
The perfect decorations, appropriate foods, and clever little details all contribute to the ultimate designed experience: a theme party. But the best theme party is one that happens right in the middle of the day, on a beautiful 80-degree afternoon, and you're going to the beach to look at art.
