Active Interest Media Cuts Workforce By 10 Percent

backpackermag.jpgBreaking: Active Interest Media, which publishes Backpacker and Yoga Journal, laid off 23 employees, Folio reports. Chairman and CEO Efrem "Skip" Zimbalist wrote in an email to Folio, "We have experienced a slowdown in print advertising revenue in the fourth quarter and we expect it to continue into 2009."
