Breaking: Bloomberg LP wins the bid to buy BusinessWeek from McGraw-Hill Cos. Bloomberg president Daniel Doctoroff said, "The BusinessWeek acquisition will yield huge benefits for users of the Bloomberg terminal, and for our television, online and mobile properties." Bloomberg did not disclose the terms of the deal, but BusinessWeek sources say the cash offer is in the $2 million to $5 million range. Norman Pearlstine, Bloomberg's chief content officer, has been named chairman of BusinessWeek.
