Gruner + Jahr Sells Four Magazines to Meredith

Gruner + Jahr said Tuesday it will sell four of its six U.S. magazines—Family Circle, Parents, Child and Fitness—to Meredith Corp. for $350 million. Under the terms of Tuesday's deal, G+J also will have the option to sell Inc. and Fast Company to Des Moines, Iowa-based Meredith, which publishes Better Homes and Gardens, Ladies' Home Journal, and others.
