Listen: Rupert Murdoch May Raise Paywall

rupert_murdoch_tokyo.pngToday on the Morning Media Menu, we pondered Rupert Murdoch's possible plan to remove his newspapers from Google index.

His plan would papers like the Sun, the Times and the Wall Street Journal out of range of Google's search, guarding Murdoch's media properties behind a steep paywall. In addition, we discussed allegations that the White House has urged consultants not to work with Fox News and the resignation of Paris Review editor Philip Gourevitch.

The show was hosted by GalleyCat editor Jason Boog and AgencySpy editor Matt Van Hoven. You can listen to all the past podcasts archived at mediabistro.com or download episodes for free on iTunes.
