The Race For 'Top-Level Domains'

icann.jpgThe first list of applicants for "Top-Level Domains" has been release, and TV networks are well-represented on that list. If ICANN, the international organization that oversees Internet-related issues like domain names and IP addresses, approves the networks' applications, you'll soon be able to go to ABC (.ABC), CBS (.CBS), Fox (.Fox), HBO (.HBO) the BBC (.BBC) and Weather Channel (.Weather).
