CBS Braces For Writers' Strike (MediaPost)
Nancy Tellem, president of CBS Paramount Network Television Entertainment, said if the Writers Guild of America stages a fall walkout, her network is prepared. Speaking at a CBS executive panel session at the Television Critics Association meeting, she said the net is confident it will fill out the schedule. "We are looking at a library of movies, we are looking at reality--at the shows we have," she said.

FNC Audio Added to Mobile Phones (Mediaweek)
Fox News Channel will soon be available in audio form on mobile phones as the result of a unique partnership between the network and the wireless technology firm Single Touch Interactive. Initially, the new service will be available just to Cingular subscribers for $2.99 per month.
