John Edwards Trial Jurors Make The TV News Rounds, Stay On Message (TVNewser)
Following the one "not guilty" verdict and the declaration of a mistrial for the remaining counts in he John Edwards trial yesterday, jurors from the case have begun making the rounds on TV news. Washington Post The Justice Department declined to comment on the outcome and whether prosecutors would seek to retry Edwards. But a source familiar with the case who wasn't authorized to speak on the record said another prosecution was unlikely.

First Green Lantern Alan Scott Relaunched as Gay Man (GalleyCat)
Alan Scott, the first DC Comics superhero to bear The Green Lantern mantel, has been updated as a gay man. Scott originally appeared in All-American Comics in 1940. The updated hero will star in the second issue of Earth 2, a "team leader with a Type-A personality and an appetite for justice."

On Facebook, 'Likes' Become Ads (NYT)
Amazon is one of many companies that pay Facebook to generate these automated ads when a user clicks to "like" their brands or references them in some other way. Facebook users agree to participate in the ads halfway through the site's 4,000-word terms of service, which they consent to when they sign up. Users do not always realize that the links and "likes" they post on Facebook can be deployed for marketing purposes.
