What If The FBI Raids the New York Times? (Times-Picayune)
Dennis Persica: Agents search the files inside the New York Times building. Perhaps some of those files are carted out; maybe even computer drives are taken. Such a scenario would make the Pentagon Papers dispute look like a minor disagreement among gentlemen. The government could treat the Times as an enemy collaborator, seal off its headquarters and move toward seizing its assets.

New owner Brian Tierney himself has professed to be a fan of the Daily News. "I like that paper for a lot of reasons," Tierney said. "The Daily News knows what it is. In comparison, the Inquirer is like that friend who keeps showing up with a different haircut every time you see them."

Brand and internet consultancy Nucleus found that the number of cases of "brand interception" by a rival company by buying words, phrases and even competitor brand names on paid-for-search advertising sites has grown 245 percent since last year.
