Amanda Plummer has joined the cast of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Lionsgate announced the casting of Plummer in the role of Wiress via press release. She joins an ever-growing cast roster that already includes Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz and Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Newspaper Guild: New York Times 'Blows Up Talks' (FishbowlNY)
The contentious negotiations between The New York Times and the Newspaper Guild of New York have taken a turn for the worse. According to the Guild, the paper "inexplicably dropped a bomb on the process today by presenting two new comprehensive proposals aimed at negotiating two separate contracts: print and digital."

WikiLeaks Nearly Out of Cash (WSJ)
WikiLeaks said it is close to running out of money, a problem the site blamed on Visa and MasterCard, which have prohibited users from donating to the site. WikiLeaks' funds would run out "within a few months" unless donations dramatically increase. Newser / AP WikiLeaks' latest move would see it take advantage of France's debit card system, known as Carte Bleue, to send donations via the Net Neutrality fund.
