Kobo to Help Independent Bookstores Sell eBooks (GalleyCat)
Kobo revealed a new partnership with the American Booksellers Association today, giving independent bookstores a new way to sell eBooks. The program will launch in 400 participating bookstores, all of them using Kobo's collection of nearly 3 million digital books. ABA members will share in the revenue on every sale.

No Easy Day: SEAL Memoir Contradicts Official Account of Bin Laden's Death (Forbes)
No Easy Day, a memoir penned by an ex-Navy SEAL, won't hit bookstores for another week. But already, the book is making things decidedly less-than-easy for administration officials. New details from the book, revealed this morning by reporters at the Associated Press and the Huffington Post, suggest that the author presents an account of the raid that killed Osama bin Laden with marked differences from the official White House version.

Peggy Noonan Gets Her Own Blog (FishbowlNY)
Peggy Noonan, everyone's favorite wacky columnist, has a new blog. It's fantastically titled "Peggy Noonan's Blog," in case the zany ideas found within the posts didn't tip you off that it might be her. According to the Wall Street Journal, Noonan will "write daily on a variety of political, cultural and personal subjects."
