Judge Impedes Hearst-MediaNews Collaboration (SF Chron)
A federal judge yesterday temporarily barred Hearst from collaborating with MediaNews, the owner of the San Jose Mercury News and other Bay Area newspapers on local distribution and national advertising sales, saying the proposed agreement might be monopolistic.
